Why this one
Al Ahly’s home shirt is one of the most recognisable in African football, and the 2026/27 version keeps everything kids love about it: the bold red, the eagle crest, the four stars. The jersey is not a flat block of colour — look closely and a tonal stripe runs down the body in a textured weave that catches the light when they move.
Built for actually playing in
This is a playing kit, not a costume. The fabric is a light, airy knit that moves air away from the skin, so it stays comfortable on a hot pitch or in a school yard. Seams are flat and smooth so nothing rubs, and the shorts sit easily on the waist with an elastic band plus a drawcord for a firmer fit.
Fabric & fit
100% polyester, lightweight and breathable, with a regular kids’ fit that leaves room to move without being baggy. Sizes follow height, so pick by the centimetre range rather than the age if your child is tall or small for their age.
Great for
Match day at home, training sessions, football academies, birthdays and Eid gifts, and little Ahlawy fans who want to wear exactly what the first team wears.
Size & fit
5-6 years (115-125cm) size 20 · 7-8 years (125-135cm) size 22 · 8-9 years (135-145cm) size 24 · 10-11 years (145-155cm) size 26. If your child is between two sizes, size up — kids grow fast and the kit still looks right slightly loose.
Care
Machine wash cold inside out with similar colours. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. Do not tumble dry and do not iron directly over the crest or sponsor prints. Hang to dry away from direct sun to keep the red deep and the prints sharp.
