The On Cloud X 4 is the training shoe in the Cloud family, and Ivory / Black is the cleanest way to wear it. The upper is a breathable ivory engineered mesh with a structured midfoot panel, finished with black laces, a black collar trim and a black toe bumper. Underneath, a wider CloudTec sole with a Speedboard plate gives you side-to-side stability that a running Cloud does not have.

Why this one

Training vs running Clouds

A running Cloud is built to roll forward in a straight line. The Cloud X widens the sole and firms up the midfoot so it holds you when you move sideways — that is the whole difference. Take the Cloud X for the gym, classes and mixed sessions; take a Cloud 5 or 6 for walking and running.

Speedboard

The Speedboard is a thin plate running through the midsole. It stores energy when you land and releases it as you push off, which is what makes the shoe feel quick rather than soft and sinking.
